This is why we teamed up with our good friend Chris Griese of The Practical Guardian and we are doing a joint class combining years of training and experience to offer this in depth course.

Less Lethal Options
This course will give you the option of learning verbal (de-escalation) skills, simple / applicable empty hand self defense skills to better your chances to avoid a confrontation and if it were to physically escalate ways that you can handle a physical altercation.

If you need something to escalate and stop a threat without a physical we are big advocates for the use of pepper spray. Chris will be presenting a section on the use of pepper spray.

 
Defensive Pistol Essentials

• When it's time to use a gun there are key elements that will heighten you chances to survival and avoiding prison. We will cover 20% of the key skills that will help you solve 80% of the problems you would likely face.

  • Threat Recognition (What Is Your Go Signal)
  • Accessing The Gun (The Draw)
    • Speed & Efficency
  • Multiple Shots On Target
  • Movement (Getting Off The X)
  • Target Transitions
    • Multiple Targets
  • How Your Vision Works / Different In High Stress Situations

We will also discuss the benefits of using a pistol mounted optic on a defensive pistol and how it can help you in a critical situation. It's not just for range use.
